Dr. Hannah Pounds speaks to the heart of our work at Baptist Community Health Services.
The mission of BCHS would not be possible without the continual outpouring of all kinds of support from our partners and friends. Because of the generosity and faithful prayer of so many, we
are able to demonstrate the love of Christ by providing high quality medical and behavioral healthcare across the Greater New Orleans area.
In 2021, we were able to serve 4,762 patients, 307 of whom were uninsured and 73 of whom were homeless. Additionally, we were able to give 1,618
vaccines to low-income or uninsured children.
We hope to continue pressing on, leveling up, and growing in order to meet many more people at their point of need.
Here are some ways you can support us:
GIVE. Using the button below, you can financially contribute to the work of BCHS, helping fund care for more patients who need it most.
PRAY. You can also pray for us! Pray that The Lord would continue to give our employees strength and wisdom as they are on the
front-lines daily, ready and willing to go the extra mile in caring for the hearts and lives of others. Pray for our leaders that they would continue to seek The Lord. Pray that The Lord
would continue to show us favor and provide for us as we grow and seek to serve more people.
LIVE. Come and live life with us! Whether you are job searching the medical field or are seeking to volunteer, we would love for
you to join in the work that God is doing at BCHS. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
It's thanks to your willingness to donate, that we are afforded the luxury of helping others in the medically under served neighborhoods of New Orleans.
