BCHS does accomodate walk-ins as we are able for all visits except well visits. Walk-ins are not guaranteed to be seen, but we do our very best to see every patient and to meet you at your point of need. It is usually best to walk from 9am-11am, or from 1pm-3pm.
What You Need to Know About Well Visits
Taking your child to see the pediatrician even when they're healthy is just as important as it is when they're sick. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has established health guidelines and schedules for screenings to ensure your child is properly growing and developing, socially progressing, and protected against diseases through immunizations.
A child should have a well visit the first week following birth (3-5 days) and at: 1m, 2m, 4m, 6m, 9m, 12m, 15m, 18m, 2yrs, 2 1/2yrs, 3yrs, and once every subsequent year until the age of 21.
These visits are 30 minutes in length, so please plan accordingly. We do not accomodate walk-in well visits.
