Baptist Community Health Services is a non-profit federally qualified multi-site community health center. Founded in 2014, in New Orleans culturally rich Lower Ninth Ward, the work of
BCHS is focused on delivering high quality primary medical and behavioral healthcare services in medically underserved communities.
BCHS welcomes patients with and without insurance. BCHS accepts all forms of insurance, including: Commercial insurance, Medicaid, Medicare and TriCare. Patients without insurance are
cared for the same as patients with insurance. Patients without insurance will receive financial discounts determined by the clinic and the patient following a sliding fee scale, set by
the US Government. Eligibility is based on income and family size. Typical per visit fees for non-insured patients range from $25 to $60. No one is ever turned away due to inability to
pay.
BCHS services include: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics; Psychiatry; and Women's Health. BCHS also provides free ultrasound services for all women.
Baptist Community Health Services is an incorporated 501(c)(3), Bureau of Primary Health Care designated H80 Community Health Center, and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors; with a
majority of the board being health center patients. BCHS maintains close working relationships with areas hospitals, other safety net providers, city and state health departments,
federal agencies and faith-focused communities.
We welcome you to call for an appointment or walk-in to one of our health centers where you will be invited to experience the quality and care known by all BCHS patients.
