Back-to-School Bash Brings Health, Fun, and Community to BCHS Saint Claude Pediatric Clinic
This week, the BCHS Saint Claude Pediatric Clinic was buzzing with excitement as over 100 families came out to our Back-to-School Community Event! It was a joyful afternoon full of food, fun, and resources to help kids start the school year strong.
With the school season fast approaching, our team was excited to host this special gathering to engage with and support families in our neighborhood. One of the highlights of the day was distributing healthy back-to-school snack bags, generously provided by First Baptist New Orleans, to help ease the financial strain of school shopping and promote healthy eating habits.
The event was further energized by the incredible support of a mission team from First Baptist Church in Monticello, Arkansas, who brought the fun with free food and engaging activities for kids and families. Their warm spirits and hands-on help made the day even more special.
We were also thrilled to have Healthy Blue of Louisiana join us to provide valuable information about Medicaid services and options for families. They brought along the vibrant TellTale Coffee truck owned and operated by local church planter, Shane Booker, which served up free snowballs and drinks, keeping everyone cool and refreshed in the summer sun.
Our friends from VIVA NOLA magazine also stopped by to interview our CEO, Phillip, and highlight our commitment to serving the Latino community. As we continue to grow and reach more families, we want all our neighbors to know that BCHS is here to serve your family in a way that is convenient, affordable, safe, and culturally sensitive. If you have questions about our services, please reach out to us at info@bchsnola.org or by filling out this form.
